Barbershop tags are a ton of fun to sing!

I use them for choir warm ups and skill-building exercizes.

Check out my original tags on the Barbershop Tags website:

At The Break of Day - this was one of my first tags.

I taught it to Alex Morris, and he took it the USA (the homeland of barbershop) and taught it there. Thus, my tag got to the states before I did!

Grey Funnel Line

One night, singing tags with the shanty master Ewan Lawrie and friends, we combined shanties and barbershop into “shanty-shop”… or is that “barber-shant”?

Most barbershop tags are TTBB or SSAA, but SATB tags exist too!

This is one of my SATB tags.

Another SATB tag. This one was written for Canberra Chordsmen and Canberra Harmony Chorus to sing together.

This is one of my favourite tags so far.

Lead consistently lower than baritone through this tag.

Leads: sing like a second bass, especially on the last two chords. Baritones: float like a second tenor!
